The Xtrinsic MPL3115A2 employs a MEMS pressure sensor with an I2C interface to provide accurate Pressure/Altitude and Temperature data. The sensor outputs are digitized by a high resolution 24-bit ADC. Internal processing removes compensation tasks from the host MCU system. Multiple user-programmable , power saving, interrupt and autonomous data acquisition modes are available, including programmed acquisition cycle timing, and poll-only modes. Typical active supply current is 40 μA per measurement-second for a stable 10 cm output resolution.

- 32-sample FIFO
- Ability to log data up to 12 days using the FIFO
- 1 second to 9 hour data acquisition rate

Analog Devices TMP36GRTZ-REEL7
0 out of 5(0)The TMP36GRTZ-REEL7 is a Low Voltage Temperature Sensor that provides a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the Celsius (centigrade) temperature. It do not require any external calibration to provide typical accuracies of ±1°C at +25°C and ±2°C over the -40 to +125°C temperature range. The low output impedance of the TMP36 and its linear output and precise calibration simplify interfacing to temperature control circuitry and ADCs. This sensor is intended for single-supply operation from 2.7 to 5.5V maximum. The supply current runs well below 50µA, providing very low self-heating less than 0.1°C in still air. In addition, a shutdown function is provided to cut the supply current to less than 0.5µA. The TMP36 is specified from -40 to +125°C, provides a 750mV output at 25°C and operates to 125°C from a single 2.7V supply. It has an output scale factor of 10mV/°C and functionally compatible with the LM50.
- Low voltage operation
- Calibrated directly in °C
- 10mV/°C Scale factor
- ±2°C Accuracy over-temperature (typical)
- ±0.5°C Linearity (typical)
- Stable with large capacitive loads
- Less than 50µA quiescent current
- 0.5µA Maximum shutdown current
- Low self-heating

Analog Devices TMP17FSZ
0 out of 5(0)The TMP17 series monolithic Temperature Transducer that provides an output current proportional to absolute temperature. For a wide range of supply voltages the transducer acts as a high impedance temperature dependent current source of 1µA/K. Improved design and laser wafer trimming of the IC’s thin film resistors allows the TMP17 to achieve absolute accuracy levels and nonlinearity errors. A wide operating temperature range (-40 to +105°C) and highly linear output make the TMP17 an ideal substitute for older, more limited sensor technologies (i.e., thermistors, RTDs, diodes, thermocouples). As the TMP17 is a temperature dependent current source, it is immune to voltage noise pickup and IR drops in the signal leads when used remotely. The high output impedance of the TMP17 provides greater than 0.5°C/V rejection of supply voltage drift and ripple.
- Temperature in/current out
- Laser wafer trimming and temperature testing insures that TMP17 units are easily interchangeable
- Electrically rugged
- Temperature resolution of 0.025°C
- 1µA/K High level output
- Excellent repeatability and stability
- Minimal self-heating errors

Analog Devices ADT7410TRZ
0 out of 5(0)The ADT7410 is a high accuracy digital temperature sensor in both a narrow SOIC package and a 4 mm × 4 mm LFCSP package. It contains a band gap temperature reference and a 13-bit ADC to monitor and digitize the temperature to a 0.0625°C resolution. The ADC resolution, by default, is set to 13 bits (0.0625°C). This can be changed to 16 bits (0.0078°C) by setting Bit 7 in the configuration register (Register Address 0x03). The ADT7410 is guaranteed to operate over supply voltages from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. Operating at 3.3 V, the average supply current is typically 210 μA.
The ADT7410 has a shutdown mode that powers down the device and offers a shutdown current of typically 2 μA. The ADT7410 is rated for operation over the −55°C to +150°C temperature range. Pin A0 and Pin A1 are available for address selection, giving the ADT7410 four possible I2 C addresses. The CT pin is an opendrain output that becomes active when the temperature exceeds a programmable critical temperature limit. The default critical temperature limit is 147°C. The INT pin is also an open-drain output that becomes active when the temperature exceeds a programmable limit. The INT and CT pins can operate in either comparator or interrupt mode.
