The TPS5420D is a High-output-current PWM Converter integrates a low resistance high side N-channel MOSFET. Included on the substrate with the listed features is a high performance voltage error amplifier that provides tight voltage regulation accuracy under transient conditions; an under-voltage-lockout circuit to prevent start-up until the input voltage reaches 5.5V, an internally set slow-start circuit to limit inrush currents and a voltage feed-forward circuit to improve the transient response. Using the ENA pin, shutdown supply current is reduced to 18µA typically. Other features include an active-high enable, over-current limiting, overvoltage protection and thermal shutdown. To reduce design complexity and external component count, the TPS5420 feedback loop is internally compensated.
- Up to 2A continuous (3A peak) output current
- High efficiency up to 95% enabled by 110mR integrated MOSFET switch
- Wide output voltage range, adjustable down to 1.22V with 1.5% initial accuracy
- Internal compensation minimizes external parts count
- Fixed 500kHz switching frequency for small filter size
- Improved line regulation and transient response by input voltage feed forward
- System protected by overcurrent limiting, over voltage protection and thermal shutdown
- Green product and no Sb/Br

Texas Instruments LP3853ES-2.5/NOPB
0 out of 5(0)The LP3853/LP3856 series of fast ultra low-dropout linear regulators operate from a +2.5V to +7.0V input supply. Wide range of preset output voltage options are available. These ultra low dropout linear regulators respond very quickly to step changes in load, which makes them suitable for low voltage microprocessor applications. The LP3853/LP3856 are developed on a CMOS process which allows low quiescent current operation independent of output load current. This CMOS process also allows the LP3853/LP3856 to operate under extremely low dropout conditions.

Analog Devices / Linear Technology LTC4151IMS#PBF
0 out of 5(0)The LTC®4151 is a high side power monitor that operates over a wide voltage range of 7V to 80V. In default operation mode, the onboard 12-bit ADC continuously measures high side current, input voltage and an external voltage. Data is reported through the I2C interface when polled by a host. The LTC4151 can also perform on-demand measurement in a snapshot mode.
The LTC4151 features a dedicated shutdown pin to reduce power consumption. The LTC4151-1/LTC4151-2 feature split I2C data pins to drive opto-isolators. The data out on the LTC4151-1 is inverted while that on the LTC4151-2 is not.

Analog Devices / Linear Technology LT3012BEFE#PBF
0 out of 5(0)The LT® 3012B is a high voltage, micropower low dropout linear regulator. The device is capable of supplying 250mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 400mV. Designed for use in battery-powered or high voltage systems, the low quiescent current (40µA operating) makes the LT3012B an ideal choice. Quiescent current is also well controlled in dropout.
Other features of the LT3012B include the ability to operate with very small output capacitors. The regulators are stable with only 3.3µF on the output while most older devices require between 10µF and 100µF for stability. Small ceramic capacitors can be used without any need for series resistance (ESR) as is common with other regulators. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse-battery protection, current limiting, thermal limiting and reverse current protection.
The device is available with an adjustable output with a 1.24V reference voltage. The LT3012B regulator is available in the 16-lead TSSOP and 12 pin low profile (0.75mm) (4mm × 3mm) DFN packages with an exposed pad for enhanced thermal handling capability.
