The TPS73701DCQ is a linear low-dropout (LDO) Voltage Regulator uses an NMOS pass element in a voltage-follower configuration. This topology is relatively insensitive to output capacitor value and ESR, allowing a wide variety of load configurations. Load transient response is excellent, even with a small 1µF ceramic output capacitor. The NMOS topology also allows very low dropout. This device uses an advanced BiCMOS process to yield high precision while delivering very low dropout voltages and low ground pin current. Current consumption, when not enabled, is less than 20nA and ideal for portable applications. This device is protected by thermal shutdown and fold-back current limit. It features reverse current blockage and freedom from output capacitor constraints. These features combined with an enable input makes the device ideal for portable applications.
- Thermal shutdown and current limit for fault protection
- Excellent load transient response-even with only 1µF output capacitor
- 1% Initial accuracy
- 3% Overall accuracy over line, load and temperature
- Less than 20nA typical IQ in shutdown mode
- Green product and no Sb/Br

Analog Devices / Linear Technology LTC4151IMS#PBF
0 out of 5(0)The LTC®4151 is a high side power monitor that operates over a wide voltage range of 7V to 80V. In default operation mode, the onboard 12-bit ADC continuously measures high side current, input voltage and an external voltage. Data is reported through the I2C interface when polled by a host. The LTC4151 can also perform on-demand measurement in a snapshot mode.
The LTC4151 features a dedicated shutdown pin to reduce power consumption. The LTC4151-1/LTC4151-2 feature split I2C data pins to drive opto-isolators. The data out on the LTC4151-1 is inverted while that on the LTC4151-2 is not.

Analog Devices / Linear Technology LT3012BEFE#PBF
0 out of 5(0)The LT® 3012B is a high voltage, micropower low dropout linear regulator. The device is capable of supplying 250mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 400mV. Designed for use in battery-powered or high voltage systems, the low quiescent current (40µA operating) makes the LT3012B an ideal choice. Quiescent current is also well controlled in dropout.
Other features of the LT3012B include the ability to operate with very small output capacitors. The regulators are stable with only 3.3µF on the output while most older devices require between 10µF and 100µF for stability. Small ceramic capacitors can be used without any need for series resistance (ESR) as is common with other regulators. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse-battery protection, current limiting, thermal limiting and reverse current protection.
The device is available with an adjustable output with a 1.24V reference voltage. The LT3012B regulator is available in the 16-lead TSSOP and 12 pin low profile (0.75mm) (4mm × 3mm) DFN packages with an exposed pad for enhanced thermal handling capability.

Texas Instruments TPS73118DBVT
0 out of 5(0)The TPS73118DBVT is a 1.8V fixed output low-dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator with reverse current protection uses a new topology, an NMOS pass element in a voltage-follower configuration. This topology is stable using output capacitors with low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and even allows operation without a capacitor. The device also provides high reverse blockage (low reverse current) and ground pin current that is nearly constant over all values of output current. The device uses an advanced BiCMOS process to yield high precision while delivering very low-dropout (LDO) voltages and low ground pin current. Current consumption, when not enabled, is less than 1µA and ideal for portable applications. The extremely low output noise is ideal for powering VCOs. These devices are protected by thermal shutdown and fold-back current limit.
- Stable with or without capacitors of all types
- Excellent load transient response-with or without optional output capacitor
- New NMOS topology provides low reverse leakage current
- 30µVrms Low noise (10kHz to 100kHz)
- 0.5% Initial accuracy
- 1% Overall accuracy over line, load and temperature
- <1µA Quiescent current (IQ) in shutdown mode
- Thermal shutdown and specified minimum and maximum current limit protection

Texas Instruments LM338T/NOPB
0 out of 5(0)The LM338T/NOPB is an adjustable 3-terminal positive Voltage Regulator, capable of supplying in excess of 5A over a 1.2 to 32V output range. They are exceptionally easy to use and require only 2 resistors to set the output voltage. Careful circuit design has resulted in outstanding load and line regulation-comparable to many commercial power supplies. A unique feature of the LM338T/NOPB family is time-dependent current limiting. The current limit circuitry allows peak currents of up to 12A to be drawn from the regulator for short periods of time. This allows the LM338T/NOPB to be used with heavy transient loads and speeds start-up under full-load conditions. Under sustained loading conditions, the current limit decreases to a safe value protecting the regulator.
